Leaving Microsoft…
After an amazing 10 years, I am resigning from Microsoft to join RES as the Sr Director Global Product Marketing, based here in the Redmond area. I am really excited to join some friends and colleagues from my time in Redmond at an exciting company entering the US Market with force.
RES technology allows organizations to manage and deliver secure, personalized and compliant desktops independent of the underlying computing infrastructure – thin clients, virtual desktops, physical desktops, or server-based computing environments. They are a member of the System Center Alliance, and have strong partnerships with Microsoft, Citrix and VMWare.
Its been a ton of fun at Microsoft. Joining in the UK in MCS as an infrastructure consultant, then as a Windows Technical Specialist, and then moving to Redmond to join the Product team. It has been successful, challenging and rewarding working for the largest software vendor in the world and I cherish the experiences and friends I have made.
My last day in Building 44 is Friday June 24th. My first day at RES is the following Monday June 27th. While my Microsoft email address will cease to exist, I can still be reached through my Hotmail, Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter.

Happy Friday
Natalia is back from Russia, and boy did the gals in class ever miss her. They were crawling all over her this AM.
And it was sports day in Gav’s class today.

Visit to Vancouver, Children’s Festival and Canucks in the Stanley Cup
Hey everyone, we spent the weekend up in Vancouver with all the west coast family this past weekend. The boys chased each other around the city, Gav got on the Aquabus, and we enjoyed some great times at Granville Island.
Children’s Festival – Gav was so popular, he even made it onto the Vancouver Global TV News.
El’s Birthday – While noone was counting, Ax’s choice of Ice Cream cake was well received. SO were the steaks, and amazing wine…
Living Room Shenanigans with the girls – the girls are beginning to at least play close to each other by hanging around in the same vicinity.
The weather was amazing, and the boys blew a bunch of gaskets working hard in the backyard.
It felt like summer EVERYONE was out in the sun…….
We hit Kits Beach and the kids jammed it hard in the brand new playground there.
More Osler Street antics……
Gavin kicked off his annual ‘Tour de Green Thumb and Pee in the garden’ tour with Gramma El. They planted, overwatered, and dug up for what seemed like far too long for the amount of garden work that was achieved…….
