Morning, we had to go replace a lost soccer ball yesterday, and Gav noticed some more helmets.

   

Weekend

Hey everyone, we had a great weekend.  The Huttons came over Friday night for some sprinkler and pizza time.  Good night, always fun with the gang hanging out.  Sat and Sun were pretty chilled out.  G-man hung out in the pool, and that was pretty much it.

Sat AM Dad took Gav out for some supplies (diapers) and some new rubber boots.  Strangely enough, Target had Fireman boots.  Of course they were basically worn out of the store, and of course we passed the Woodinville Fire Dept on the way home.  Of course they had all the rigs out being cleaned, and OF COURSE Gav met Fire Chief Ian and got to sit in 2 trucks for about half an hour. It was hilarious……….

Sunday AM we did goto the Kirkland Auto show, it was a highlight for Gav last year, and we had a nice walk.  Waste Management had a display that encouraged kids to climb on, and Gav didnt need any encouragement. I asked the owner of the restored 1935 truck if he worked at WM, of course, he is the President.  Remove Foot from mouth, remove child from truck.  He was great about it……………..

Happy Canada Day, and that other one on the 4th……

We had a great holiday in both Vancouver and at 7Trees, on the sunshine coast.  We went up for a week.  We met our new niece, Jessica, and enjoyed a great week with GP, El, Auntie Jenny, Uncle Mark, AX and of course the new arrival.  Golf (poorly played by your author), some cycling (slow) and a few Gin Tonics on the lawn (yours truly) made for a VERY relaxing week.  Others slept, ate, slept, read, and generally chilled out…….

Hutton Cottage

Hey everyone, we had a fantastic weekend at the Hutton’s cottage on Bellingham a week ago.  We went up on the Friday, and played all weekend in the water, on the boat and more.  We even managed to sneak in another Fireman’s breakfast!
