Back from Vegas, parents arrived, G-Man’s Birthday Week conclusion

Gavin Turns 2

Today Gavin turned 2.  We could believe that today 2 years ago we were arguing about Daph being in labor :).  It has been so much fun with little G running around.  From his little opinions to his demands, it has been just awesome seeing the world through his eyes.  He is so full of fun.

We got the day going with singing and convincing him this was his special day.  That might sound weird but it was as if he learned today was a big day for him.  He went to school and had a great day, the kids gave him a card and sang to him. 

Tonight he had a cupcake, and some candles, and of course prezzies.  Thomas, thomas, thomas. 

Bedtime, sugar rush and a fella who has figured out how to work a sleepsack zipper.  Hilarious.

Weekend in Van

Hi everyone, we had an amazing weekend in Vancouver.  Little cousin Alex turned 2, and we had to rock it out at the little gym party.  No keggers, but lots of sugar……..

Happy Easter

We did a nice little Easter Sunday with Gavin today.  We got some hollow eggs and put toys inside them, like cars, balloons, firemen, etc.  It was great fun to watch him figure out how to hunt for them with his Easter basket. 

Mom then made a  huge pancake breakfast, and we feasted.  We Skyped with 7Trees, and spoke with Auntie Jenny, G.P. and Grandma.  Apparently Ax got a chocolate easter bunny and ate the entire thing.  For breakfast.
